Catching Up!!!

We had a very enjoyable Holiday season celebrating all sorts of things. First we had Thanksgiving up in Tremonton at my parents home. Izze had a fun time with her cousins and playing outside on the swings. We got this family picture the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

The beginning of December was the Annual Ackerman Family Nativity, which unfortunately we don't have any pictures of. It was filmed though and upon request you may see it. This year Izze was demoted to a sheep (last year she was in the womb playing Baby Jesus).

Next we celebrated Isabel's first birthday on December 23. She got some bath toys and a baby doll, which she loves to drag around the house with her and give hugs to.

Last of all was Christmas, after opening presents at out house we went to the Ackermans and spent the day eating, talking, and just enjoying the company. The Saturday after Christmas was the Eberhard family party where we got spoiled some more by great family associations and got to see our new nephew Will!!

We are so blessed to have such wonderful family to spend the season with and are excited for a great year in 2009!!!

End of Summer

The summer is winding down and it's time to get ready for fall. I don't know where the time went!! I am horrible at updating our blog, so I apologize to anyone out there who is dying to see pictures of our darling Isabel. So I am finally getting new pictures put up of the whole fam.

Here are a few other fun ones. One of Izze's favorite places to play is under my piano. She will pull herself up to stand and talk to/laugh at her reflection. She also likes to get toys and play with them under there. She also likes to read books with dad.

Attempts to crawl...

Izze is trying real hard to crawl lately, but hasn't quite figured out what to do with her hands. She gets around pretty good going backwards and can move across the room if she sets her mind to it (I have discovered she is quite a determined little girl!!).

Our summer is going good, nothing too exciting. We have had a couple barbecues in our backyard and look forward to a camping trip in August. We haven't made it out to a Bees game yet, but hope to do that soon (Hopefully Izze will like baseball as much as her dad). She liked the Grizzlies hockey game we went to in the spring. Izze had a new cousin born last week and another one on the way in November. She is super excited about that.

Family Camping Trip

Izze experienced her first camping trip. She had a blast. It was a little cold, but she is quite the trooper. We went up to Little Cottonwood Canyon to Tanners Flat. My parents and brother came also.


Izze turned 5 months old on Friday, may 23. Her aunt Rachel sent her some cute shoes. Here she is modeling them.....

Fun at 4 months....

Isabel just turned 4 months old. It is so fun to see all the things she is beginning to do. Her favorite things now are laughing at herself in the mirror, chewing on her hands, and singing "The Wheels on the Bus". Below are some pictures of her with her dad and our little family.

Isabel's blessing

Isabel was blessed on March 2, 2008. Her grandma and aunt helped pick out her darling blessing dress. She was very well behaved during the blessing and had a fun party with her family after church.

Izze turned 1 month!

This is Izze on her 1 month birthday. She celebrated by playing with mom, sleeping most of the day, eating, and pooping. Oh the life of a newborn......
